AVOCADO CREAM

The flavor and buttery consistency of avocado also lends itself to the preparation of sweet creams.

What is avocado

Avocado is a fruit that is very often mistaken for a vegetable. It originates from Central America and Mexico. There are many varieties but the Hass and Fuerte avocados, which are also grown in Italy in Sicily, are the most appreciated qualities for their creamy pulp with an intense flavor.

How to buy avocado?

When buying an avocado check that:

  • the stalk protects the fruit pulp from external agents
  • the peel has no dents
  • the fruit is soft to the touch, but not too soft.

If the avocado is not ripe, there is no problem because it will continue to ripen once harvested.

Maybe put it in a paper bag with apples and in a short time it will be perfect.

If it is too soft, but still a nice green-yellow color inside then use it to prepare creams or smoothies.

If it is dark, unfortunately, all you can do is throw it away.

Can you eat the seed?

It was edible and also rich in property.

Just wash it, remove it from the dark skin and then use a small part of it inside smoothies and centrifuges.
